Jessica Wu
Ms. Jessica Wu is currently an Executive Vice President and Regional Head of Investment Banking at KGI Securities Co. Ltd. KGI is a well renowned investment banking firm headquartered in Taipei with substantial operations in Hong Kong in Thailand as well as expanding presence in China and Singapore.
Prior to joining KGI, Ms. Wu had a combination of commercial banking, international investment banking and venture capital management credentials. She was previously the President of Prudence Capital Management Limited, the investment advisor of an NT$2 billion Taiwan-based venture fund; President of Global Financial Services Co., Ltd., a boutique firm involved in a broad array of financial advisory services spanning from project financing to mergers and acquisitions; Chief Representative in China & Vice President, Investment Banking in Hong Kong for Lehman Brothers Inc.
Ms. Wu holds a Master's of Arts degree in Economics from Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana of the United States (January 1984) as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from National Taiwan University (June 1982).
Ms. Wu was born in 1960. Her father is a well-esteemed judge in Taiwan's Supreme Court. As a second-generation Mainland Chinese, Jessica is fluent in both mandarin Chinese and English, and has reasonable command of Taiwanese local dialect. She is married with one son.
